HOW DO YOU PREPARE YOUR FLOORS FOR SURE SHINE?
Unfinished Wood Floors should be dry, free from all dust, dirt, oils, and grease.
For best results, wipe the entire area to be finished with a tack rag prior
to applying finish.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO APPLY SURE SHINE?
Use a synthetic pad applicator, synthetic bristle brush or foam brush. DO NOT
USE ROLLER or other applicator that will apply thick coats.
SURE SHINE APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Stir contents before using, do not shake or agitate as this causes excessive
foam.
STEP 1: Apply first coat as a sealer without thinning.
STEP 2: Apply finish in the same direction as the wood grain with approved
applicator in smooth, even strokes. Always apply thin coats.
STEP 3: Allow product to dry, and then sand lightly with fine sandpaper or
screen. Do not allow sanding procedure to build up excessive heat.
RE-COAT:Allow product to dry for 1-2 hours between coats and sand lightly between
coats. A minimum of three coats is recommended for interior surfaces. Light
traffic may be allowed within 12 hours. Avoid placing rugs or moving furniture
over finish for about one week.
CLEAN UP: Clean all tools with soap and warm water as soon as possible after
use.
WHAT IS THE ESTIMATED COVERAGE WITH SURE SHINE?
Between 600 and 800 square feet per gallon per coat.
